そういえば最近、サンクラでやばい曲に出会えてない。関西若手trackmakerの勉強会 #potlucklab のハッシュタグで、片っ端から聴いてみる。私みたいなのがいるから、勉強会後に自分の曲アピールするのは大事。
I haven't been meeting a crazy tune. I digged tunes on SoundCloud by using #potlucklab, which is the hashtag of young producers' workshop in Osaka. It's important to appeal your tunes with the hashtag after the workshop.

一線を画していたのはこちら。完成度が高過ぎて有名曲のeditかと疑ってしまう。
This song is outstanding. I doubted this song was the edit of famous song because of that high quality.

Nerubeatsさん「Gonna out!のメロディはNahaeにお任せしていたのですが、彼女から後日楽曲データを貰った時にメロディが凄い良くて、自宅でずっと笑っていたのをよく覚えています！僕が思う彼女が持つ魅力として1番強く感じているのは、歌声から彼女の顔の表情が分かる事だと思っています。楽しい曲は笑っていたり、悲しい曲は眉をひそめていたり、歌声だけでこれほど沢山の喜怒哀楽を感じさせてくれるのが、本当に凄いなぁと思っています。」
Nerubeats comments "She made the melody of "Gonna out!". I remember that I had been smiling for a long after receiving music data from her because the melody was so good! I can see her expression when I listen to her singing. That's the most attractive point of her vocal. I can see her smiling face when I listen to her joyful song. I can see her frowning face when I listen to her sad song. Only her vocal can express various emotions, which impresses me so much. "

サンクラにあがっていたNahaeさんの歌4曲を聴く。この興奮久しぶり。直近女性ボーカルの新譜ラッシュで、ROSALIA/King Princess/んoon/kiki vivi lilyを聴き込んでいたんだけど、同列でも見劣りしない、というかNahaeさんの方が好きかも。声も美しいし技術的にも上手いのだろうけれど、何より歌い方に心を奪われてしまった。音楽が用意されて、音階をなぞって歌うのではなく、自分のものにしている。朗読ではなく、まるでその人が自分の話をしているような。歌い方の表現が豊かだからだろうか。もちろん、彼女の歌を引き立てる楽曲も良いのだろうけれど。例えば、1:20からのdream dream dreamの歌い方とか。
I listened to Nahae's 4 songs on her SoundCloud. I was excited about songs after so long. Female singers release new songs consecutively. I was listening to ROSALIA, King Princess, んoon and kiki vivi lily. I think that Nahae's song has same quality as these professional singer's one. I may prefer to her songs. She sings beautifully and technically. The way of sing attract me more. She doesn't just follow provided music notes. Her song is herself. It's like talking her story, not like reading other's book. The variety of her expression might make me feel so. Of course, tracks are also good to bring out her song's attraction. For example, the way of sing "dream dream dream" is so attractive.

ブログに書くのは、もっと聴き込んで類似した曲がないかよくよく調べてからとも考えた。パ音や長谷川白紙のとき過去思い出しても直観は正しかったし、フットワークの軽さとスピード感もってやれるのは個人ブログの強みだから書くことにした。ところがブログに書くにも、情報が全くない。ダメ元でご本人にメールをしてみたら、大量の質問にも関わらずすぐに、とても丁寧に対応して下さった。
I thought that I should blog about her song after deep examinations. When I looked back on the case of Pasocom Music Club and Hkushi Hasegawa, first impression was right. Nifty footwork and speed are strength of my blog, so I decided to blog. However there was no information about her. I made so bold as to contact her. She answered all questions promptly and respectfully though they were too many.

Q1. SoundCloud上の4曲はオリジナルですか？
Are 4 songs on SoundCloud original?

A1. SoundCloudにアップロードしてある曲はすべてオリジナルです。カバーではなく、私やプロデューサーにより制作されたものです。
All the songs uploaded to my soundcloud are original. They are not cover songs, but songs made by me and my producers themselves.

Q2. (Nerubeats, sukieeやomoonといった)何人かのプロデューサーとコラボされているようですね。あなたからオファーしたのですか？彼らは友達ですか？
You seem to collaborate some producers (Nerubeats, sukiee and omoon).
Did they offer you? Are they your friends?

A2. 先にNerubeatsさんが私をフォローしてくれました。私は彼の音楽を聴きました。素晴らしかったので彼にコラボレーションに参加してもらうようにお願いしました。彼はすぐに賛成してくれ良い曲を作ってくれました。Sukieeは私の大学のクラブの友達です。彼と私は『干物妹！うまるちゃん』が好きです。やっぱり『干物妹！うまるちゃん』。Sukieeはほぼすべてのジャンルのビートを作るのが得意で、私と歌作りの話をよくします。Omonと私はYouTubeのビートチャンネルで知り合い、一緒に活動しました。
Nerubeats followed me in the soundcloud first. I listened to his music. There was a great song, so I asked him to join us for a collaboration. He readily agreed and could produce a good song. Sukiee is a friend of my college club. He and I like Umaru chang. やっぱり Himoto Umaru Chan! He is good at beat-making in almost every genre and often talks about making songs with me. Omon and I got to know each other on the YouTube beat channel and worked together.

Q3. どのようにプロデューサーとコラボしますか？誰が歌詞を書きますか？どのようにコミュニケーションをとりますか？インターネット？会ったりしますか？
How do you collaborate with producers? Who wrote lyrics?
How to communicate them? Do you communicate via internet? Do you meet them?

A3. 先に話した通りです。Sukieeとは直接会います。彼とLokidと私はR&B crewです。歌について話します。歌以上にほかのことも話していると思います。他のプロデューサーとはインターネットでコンタクトします。歌詞は自分で書いています。
As I said before, I meet Sukiee in person. He and Lokid, who share the R&B crew with me, and I talk about the song, and I think we talk more about other things than the song. I contact other producers on the Internet. I write all the lyrics myself.

Q4. あなたの歌い方は私を魅了しました。ボーカルトレーニングを受けたことはありますか？英語の発音も良いです。どのように練習しましたか？
Your way to sing attracts me. Have you ever taken vocal training?
Your English pronunciation is also good. How do you practice that?

A4. プロのボーカルトレーニングを受けたことはありません。自分自身で発生練習をしています。発音が良いですか？私はわかりませんでした。幼い頃から教育の中で英語を学んだからだと思います。日本語も勉強しました。難し過ぎて断念しましたが、このところまた学びたいと思っています。
I've never received vocal training professionally. I practice vocalization by myself. Did I pronounce well? I did not know. I think it is because I have learned English through education since I was young. When I was in middle school, I learned Japanese, too. I gave up because it was difficult, but I want to learn it again these days.

Q5. どこで歌を録音していますか？家ですか？それともスタジオ？
Where did you take your song? Did you record your song at home? Or studio?

A5. 自分の小さな高価なスタジオで録音しています。ときどきSukieeとLokidとチキンを食べます。
I do it in my own small and precious studio. Sometimes I eat chicken with Sukiee and Lokid.

Q6. 影響を受けた歌手はいますか？
Which singer affect your way to sing?

6. 私はあらゆる種類の歌手を聴きます。最近はJeremy Zuckerばかり聴いています。
I listen to all kinds of singers, but I only listen to Jeremy Zucker these days.

Q7. 誰かコラボしたい人はいますか？
Whom do you want to collaborate with?

7. 有名無名に関わらず、私の色に合う誰かなら。
Famous or not famous, someone who fits me in color.

Q8. 日本のアニメの絵を使っているようですが日本の文化に興味があるのですか？
You seems to use pictures of Japanese animation. Are you interested in Japanese culture?

8. ぽにょは私の好きなキャラクターです。走り回るのがかわいいです。日本のジブリ映画に興味があったのでたくさん観ました。私はよくトトロの猫バスに似ていると言われます。かわいいと言うより目が似ているからでしょう。ハハハ。『君の名は』も観て感銘を受けました。日本のアニメの偉大さを感じました。
Ponyo is my favorite character. It is cute to run around. I watched many of their movies because I was interested in Japanese movie company Jibri's work. I often hear that I look like a cat bus in Totoro. It is probably because of eyes like cats rather than cute. Haha. And I saw a movie called <君の名は> so impressive. I felt the greatness of Japanese animation.

Q9. 音楽イベントで歌っていますか？
Do you sing in music events?

A9. 近頃は出演より歌を作ることに時間を割いています。
These days, I spend more time making songs by myself than performing.f:id:senotic:20190605153705j:plainQ10. 日本の若いプロデューサーたちはSNS上でコミュニケーションをとっています。彼らはBandcampでリリースしたり音楽イベントもよく開催しています。韓国の若い音楽プロデューサーや歌い手のコミュニティはどんな感じですか？
Japanese young producers communicate via SNS.
They release their music on Bandcamp and have music events often.
How is community of young music producers and singers in Korea?

A10. 韓国も似ています。私たちもSNSを通じてお互いコンタクトをとります。SNSが発達してから異国のアーティストとコンタクトをとることも難しくなくなりました。なので、韓国と日本のアーティストが境界を少し超えてお互いコラボできることは素晴らしいことだと思います。
Korea is similar to Japan. We contact each other through SNS. Since social networking sites have developed, it is not difficult to contact artists from different countries, so I think it would be nice if Korean and Japanese artists could collaborate with each other by expanding their horizons a little bit.

Q11. 日本のプロデューサーSoleil SoleilとコラボしたUZAを知っていますか？
私はこの種のコラボが韓国と日本のシーンをもっと面白くすると思うのですが。
Do you know UZA? She collaborated Japanese producer "Soleil Soleil".
I think that this kind collaboration makes Korea and Japanese scene more interesting.

A11. UZAは知りません。でも彼女の歌を聴きました。私の歌Fantasy DreamをフィーチャーしたLokidと同じ会社に所属しています。Soleil Soleilとの歌好きでした。私もこの種のことは韓国と日本のシーンをもっと面白くすると思います。私も日本の素晴らしいビートメーカーともっと交流したいです。
I don't know UZA, but I've heard her song. She belongs to the same company as Lokid who featured in my song Fantasy Dream. I loved her song with Soleil Soleil. I think that this kind of thing makes Korea and Japanese Scene more interesting, too. I also want to interact with more great Japanese beatmakers.

Q12. 日本のリスナーや音楽プロデューサーにメッセージはありますか？
Do you have any message to Japanese listeners or music producers?

A12. 私の歌に興味を持って下さってありがとうございます。私は自分のカラーを出すことができて幸せです。今回Nerubeatと活動がきっかけで、日本の音楽マーケットに興味が持ちました。日本の優れたアーティストと活動できることを望んでいます。リスナーのためにより良い歌を作るよう努力していきます。愛しています。楽しみにしていて下さい。
Thank you so much for your interest in my song, and I'm happy to show you my own color. Especially, this opportunity to work with Nerubeat has given me more interest in the Japanese music market. I think I can look forward to more work with good Japanese artists and I will try to make better songs for the listeners. I love you guys. Please look forward to it.f:id:senotic:20190605153821j:plainなんちゅうええ子やねん。とてもわかりやすいきれいな英語で助かった。『干物妹！うまるちゃん』って有名なの？彼女がはまっているJeremy Zuckerを聴いて、とても納得。単に完コピではなく、歌い方を解釈して自分のオリジナルの曲で取り入れられるところが凄い。音楽やそれ以外のことまで話せる仲間がいることは、結果良い音楽を作ることにも繋がっているように思った。KPOPだけが韓国の音楽ではないし、コラボしてもお互いの市場を奪うことにはならない、むしろ音楽性が近い場合は特に、リスナーを共有できると思う。私自身は音楽を作ることも奏でることもできないのだけど、こうやって話を聞かせてもらえて、隣の国でも日本と同じように楽しく音楽を作っている人たちがいることを実感できた。Nahaeさんに心より感謝です。

What a nice person she is! Her English is grammatically correct and easy to understand for me. Is "Himoto Umaru Chan!" famous? When I listened to Jeremy Zucker that she is into, I fully understand. She didn't just imitate his way of sing. She interprets his way and master how to use the way in her own song. That's her talent. Only K-POP is not Korean music. Korean and Japanese music markets don't compete against each other. We can expand both markets by collaborations. We share listener who listen to similar music. I couldn't make nor play any music. I could feel realistically that music producers and singer make music in Korea same as in Japan. I really appreciate Nahae to give me this chance.
